Welcome to Nugget Racing!!!
Congrats Redracer for placing 2nd in the Monticello Karting 2007 season points championship!
HMMM...Where do I begin? My name is Kaylin Kirk AKA "Redracer" :) and I am 10 years old.
I live in Live Oak, Florida where I am a 4th grader at Melody Christian Academy. Now that we got that out of the way,
on to the good stuff!!! If anyone asks, I will tell them that racing is my "heart & Soul"! My dad took me
to a track in Immokalee Florida when I was 8 and I've been hooked every since! I started in the Kid Kart class to gain
experience and moved up into the EasyKart 60 class September 2006. It was so hard at first and so much faster than the
Kid Kart class. I worked very hard and finally started to see my hard work pay off! I saw myself getting closer
and closer to the front of the pack (oh yeah, did I mention, I'm the only girl in my class?...GIRLS RULE!!! Well, now
at this moment I am leading in points for the EasyKart 60 class at Monticello Karting but as all you racers know, that can
be taken away as quick as it is earned! The boys in my class are awesome drivers and it is always a great competition
so no matter what, I know that coming as far as I have, I am very proud of my accomplishments...but I sure do love to win!!!
I have competed in the WKA FKCS races but hope to get more serious with that next season and will also compete
in the EasyKart Nationals...wish me luck!
My role model is Danika Patrick. I love seeing girls involved in racing and it shows me what I could
accomplish with hard work and time. Also, I could not do this without my dad! When I'm not racing, you will find
my dad ALWAYS cleaning and working on my Kart! THANKS DAD!!!
In my free time, I'm just like every other girl...I love listening to music and I LOVE Hannah Montana and
High School Muscial!
Well, I think thats about it for now...check back often and I will keep you updated on my races! Thanks
for checking in!!!
Kaylin
